60th place at Mooloolaba World Cup Triathlon
I was feeling good, ready for it, but on the details to excel I missed nutrition...
Bad races are always something to expect on a big season and I hope the next one will not come soon! haha
The race happened at 3pm and I thought having lunch three hours before, would be enough time to digest. Basic spaghetti in pesto tomato sauce, that I could still taste minutes before the race... :-S
I swam reasonably, sufficient to be in the huge first pack out of the water, but on the bike I felt really bad and at one of the course climbs I got dropped off.
I knew it would not be my best race, but finishing strong was also one of the goals, so I kept going as hard as I could and started running with determintion to do a great split. My stamina didn`t last as well as I'd hoped, because by the half way point my stomach got really tight and cramped really bad, so I had to slow down and be content on just finishing another tri...
The race itself was fantastic! What a great job from USM Events and all sponsors involved, including Asics who offered a nice visor that I am giving away for the first comment on this post here or in the blog`s Brazilian version!
Now its time to enjoy the amazing scenes of Australia with new friends William and James, who gave me great support for the race, including the picture here posted!

Now the focus is at New Plymouth, NZ, where the next ITU World Cup is going to be placed!
